VOLUNTEER WORK |
We have been involved in a number of volunteer projects over the last few years. | ||
Kevin is the chairperson of the Allira House Women's Refuge. The funds raised by the Allira House Op Shops help to fund Allira House operations. |
Kevin also serves as board chairman of the Catalina Conference Centre which also provides Disability Life Enrichment. |
Glenda enjoys fellowshipping with the Toronto Church Care Group on Wednesday mornings as they make quilts, assemble care bags for people who are facing a difficult time or assembling school bag supplies, toys, and clothes for school children in the Solomon Islands. Kevin enjoys gardening in the church community garden with the men while the ladies make quilts. |
Glenda works one day a week in the office of The Incredible Journey TV program by Gary Kent. She helps in processing the free booklet requests from viewers each week. She also marks the online Bible Study lessons and answers questions. Kevin assists the ministry with Bible Study materials and seminars online. The Incredible Journey Media Evangelism Ministry broadcasts on free-to-air TV across Australian cities and regional towns on Channel 9GEM on Sundays at 8:30 am. Or can be viewed on demand on their website, facebook or youtube page. Facebook Link: |
